105 General Education Reformations
Notice
According to the new general education curriculum of school year 105, some
reformations of general education courses are listed as follows.
1. “Core courses” are changed to “Language courses” which include Basic
Chinese courses (4 credits) and Foreign Language courses (4 credits).
2. “Philosophy and Art” will be categorized into Humanities. “History and
Citizenship” are respectively moved to Area courses of Humanities and
Social Sciences.
3. Students enrolled in school year 105 should take 28 credits of general
education courses. Students are required to take courses that include
at least 3 different areas (Interdisciplinary is a single area). For more
detail information, please refer to NCKU General Education Course
Enrollment Guideline.
4. Students enrolled in school year 104 and before should take 32 credits of
general education courses and follow the guideline of the school year they
enrolled.
5. If students enrolled in school year 104 and before need to fulfill the credit
requirement of “Philosophy and Art” and “History and Citizenship”, he/she
needs to be aware of the remark of course title when course enrollment.
